Winter Glow 2023, presented by the Flatiron NoMad Partnership, centered around Control, No Control—an interactive light installation that transformed the district into an immersive public experience.
The challenge was to create a visual system that could extend the installation beyond the physical site—capturing its sense of interaction, movement, and light while remaining legible across environmental graphics, wayfinding, and print.
This concept is expressed through a graphic language of radiating lines that echo the installation’s responsive surface, translating gesture and motion into a cohesive identity system. Applied across signage, posters, and event materials, the system reinforces the experience of engagement—inviting the public to not only observe, but participate.
