New Yorkers for Parks (NY4P) hosts its annual benefit to support advocacy and investment in New York City’s public spaces, bringing together civic leaders, designers, and community members. The event required a visual identity that could feel celebratory and culturally rooted while remaining flexible across invitations, event materials, and environmental applications.
The challenge was to build a system that could unify multiple touchpoints while capturing the energy of the event and the spirit of New York’s parks. Central to this was the daffodil motif by Michael De Feo—a recognizable symbol of renewal and the city’s public landscape—which needed to be reinterpreted across formats without losing its character.
These concepts are expressed through bold, graphic system that combines the hand-drawn daffodil with vibrant color and typographic clarity. Applied across invitations, table cards, and event materials, the system balances playfulness with structure, creating a cohesive identity that reflects both the liveliness of the event and the mission of NY4P.
